Rules of engagement during freezing and Corona

Rules of engagement during freezing and Corona

You may already have noticed that (severe) frost is being forecasted more frequently in the (Dutch) weather reports in recent days. It has been quite a while since we were able to skate (on natural ice) and the situation is a little different than usual this winter in particular. At Schreuders Sport we are currently working according to an adapted protocol so that we can guarantee the safety of our staff and customers as well as possible. We will, of course, continue to observe the Corona measures as laid down by the Dutch government and appreciate your understanding.

Experience has taught us that during periods of freezing, many of our customers prefer to select and collect their goods in person and we also cherish these periods - they are very special and memorable. However, given the current circumstances, we will continue to operate as you have been used to in recent months - i.e. no collection orders and no working visits. We will receive your order digitally and ship it in order of receipt. Shipping (including package delivery) may take longer than you are used to due to the expected increase in orders and sales. Please take this into account when ordering.

For the sake of clarity, we have detailled the main 'rules of engagement' in case of a period of freezing below. Please observe these rules. This will aid in efficiency and speed when processing your order:

• Collection orders and visits are not possible. The current Corona measures do not allow for third party visits to our facility.
• Web orders only. Unfortunately, we cannot process orders via e-mail or telephone, because our entire staff will be engaged in processing orders.
• Pre-payment only during a period of freezing. Experience tells us that, during cold snaps, outstanding payments increase rapidly, existing credit limits are insufficient and credit insurers are unable to react in a timely manner.
• Orders as much as possible in whole boxes. For the benefit of speedy order processing, but also of receipt checks on your side, it is preferable to order products as much as possible per whole export box. Our website details how many pieces fit in an export box next to every products. Try to take this into account during the ordering process.
• Combine as much as possible. Orders will be collected and sent in order of receipt. It is not possible to submit additional orders to be combined with previous orders. Every separate order will also be processed based on chronological order of receipt.

We would also like to point out that, during periods of freezing, all discounts become ineffective and catalogue prices apply to all customers.

We would have liked to welcome you at our facility in Leerdam and were ready to experience another winter period together. Unfortunately, with a view to keeping our employees safe, continuity of our business as well as the rules imposed by the government, this is not an option.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
