Product safety
Product safety has been a key priority for over a century. We only sell products that have been thoroughly tested against strict safety standards. Reputable testing institutes such as Intertek, SGS, and TÜV inspect our products for hazards like sharp edges, small detachable parts, and harmful substances.

Sustainability within our Organization
- In our warehouses, reusing materials like cardboard, metal, and plastic has been standard practice for decades.
- Over 2.000 solar panels installed on our warehouse roofs generate more than 500.000 kWh of green electricity each year. As a result, our own organisation is CO-neutral and even feed surplus energy back into the grid.
- Our energy-efficient LED lighting saves over 50.000 kWh of electricity annually.
Sustainability of our Products
- We stock spare parts for many of our products because repairing is better than throwing away.
- We are replacing single-use plastic packaging (such as bags and blister cards) with more sustainable alternatives like tissue paper or paper wraps.
- We continuously strive to increase the use of recycled materials in our products. For example, all of our sleeping bags do have 100% recycled insulation filling. These products are labelled with our sign: “made with recycled materials”. When a product is produced with only recycled materials we will use the label: “100% made from recycled materials”.
- We are affiliated with organizations such as Stichting OPEN (responsible for the collection of batteries and electronic waste) and UPV Textiles (promoting textile reuse and recycling).
Excellent Working Conditions
Schreuders Sport is a member of the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) and the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI). These organizations help ensure responsible working conditions through independent audits, training programs, and information services — alongside our own continuous efforts.
