Yearly price adjustments

For Schreuders Sport, spring is traditionally the time of year in which we bring our prices in line with current and expected market developments. The COVID pandemic and the effects it has had on business in general causes our 2021 price review to be a special one. For example, due to the enormous demand for sports and leisure products, suppliers in the Far East have been confronted with unexpected capacity issues. Logistical problems and price increases of raw materials have also caused production costs to rise significantly. In addition, the transport of goods around the world has been severely impacted. This has led to an unprecedented explosive increase in transport costs over the past 6 months.

Up until today, we have absorbed the cost price increases ourselves as much as possible and have only adjusted our prices in extreme cases. Now that the transport costs have been far above average for over 5 months and all raw material prices have been constantly increasing for over 3 months, we need to structurally adjust our sales prices accordingly. We have noticed that everyone is faced with the same challenges and that recently, a great number of organisations have adjusted their market prices to suit the new situation. We are therefore confident that our new prices are still competitive and in line with the market.

All price changes will be implemented on our website from April 1st 2021 and only apply to orders confirmed as of the moment of publication (previously confirmed (pre)orders retain the agreed-upon price). Of course, we have also adjusted our recommended retail prices where necessary.
